居全国艺术教育中心的中央美术学院，秉承徐悲鸿先生的教育准则，培养出不少新的一代，人才辈出，王同仁便是其中之一。他于1955年入学，1961年毕业，以优异的成绩，留校任教，已经二十余年。在这一段时期内，他曾赴新疆、西藏、西南边疆各民族地区，旅行写生，把各民族的风貌、风俗人情、劳动情况、山川风物，一一展现在画幅之中，得到各地人民的喜爱。他的画笔带着浓厚的激情，与各族人民联系在一起，心心相照，用艺术的手法，推动彼此间的认识和友好，起了团结的作用。中华全民族的合作和发展，艺术是一种胶合剂，尽了很大的力量。
　　王同仁的作品在台湾展览，将愈促进彼此间的亲切感情。台湾时时想念大陆的兄弟，同样，大陆也时时想念台湾的骨肉。盈盈一水间，相融不得语已经四十年。这些画幅，展现在台湾的兄弟面前，有如亲人相见，会聚一堂。我想，这种情味是会超乎想象的。
　　还是让艺术作品自己去接触期待着我们的社会群众吧。谨此，我预祝其美好的成就，为隔海相望的兄弟造成一道艺术的桥梁。

　　The Central Academy of Fine Arts, as a centre of art education in the nation, adheres to the guidelines set up by Mr. Xu Beihong, and produces one generation after another of qualified artists. Wang Tongren is an outstanding example. He was admitted into the Academy in 1955 and graduated in 1961. He was then assigned to teach in the Academy for his excellent studies, and worked there for more than 20 years. During that period of time, he toured Xinjiang, Tibet, and other minority nationality areas along the South-west border of China for painting sketches and as a result, his works fully expressed the particular features of various nationalities, local conditions and customs, their way of work and life, as well as the landscape and scenery. They were greatly welcomed by the people everywhere. Behind his painting brush, there is a heart full of enthusiasm, linked with those of all nationalities. His art, indeed, promotes the understanding, friendship and unity among all nationalities. 　　In fostering the national cooperation and development, art serves as a kind of powerful adhesive.
　　The exhibition of Wang Tongren’s works in Taiwan would further develop the brotherly affection between the both sides. Taiwan keeps missing their brothers in the Mainland, the same is true of the Mainland to their kindred in Taiwan. The Straits separate us for 40 years making it impossible to talk to each other.
　　These paintings exhibited before the eyes of Taiwan brothers seem to bring a family reunion. The sentiment of which, I believe, is beyond imagination.
