王同仁
中央美术学院国画系教授。在职期间任国画系人物画室和基础课画室主任。中国美术家协会会员、中国书法家协会会员：炎黄艺术馆艺委会副主任；黄胄美术基金会理事。
自幼师从黄胄先生。1955年考入中央美术学院。1961年毕业，留校任教。先后受到蒋兆和、叶浅予、李可染、李苦禅、刘凌沧、田世光、李斛、郭味渠等艺术大家的亲自指教；曾求教于潘天寿、傅抱石、石鲁等艺术大师。1967年为参加阿尔巴尼亚“中国建设成就展”，创作巨幅油画《东方红》和《***万岁》，得到***亲切接见。作品《东方红》被载入《中国油画六十年》一书。
王同仁艺术作品内容丰富，风格独特，恪守“笔简意真”，强调“笔墨独具审美功能”。其作品具有造型大度、笔墨酣畅、收放有度的个人艺术特色。王同仁通过多年的艺术实践，独创出风格迥异的焦墨人物画，丰富了中国美术的表现手法。其作品多次参加全国美展、名人名作展，蒙特卡洛国际艺术展等重要展览，并在北京、广州、兰州、甘南、天水、香港、台湾、巴黎、东京、新奥尔良等地举办“王同仁画展”。1998年金秋在北京中国美术馆举办了大型的个人画展。***、周巍峙及中央***部、文化部有关领导出席了开幕式。多幅作品被中国美术馆、中国画研究院、北京图书馆、沈阳博物馆、美国新奥尔良艺术馆、丹麦安徒生博物馆收藏。部分作品由有关单位和友人赠送给***，以及日本***、澳大利亚昆士兰总督等。
1984年参加美国新奥尔良世界博览会，向西方国家介绍中国绘画艺术，并和美国艺术家进行艺术交流。美国之音对王同仁做了专题采访。1995年在法国巴黎国际艺术城举办了“王同仁个人画展”，先后赴意大利、英国等欧洲国家参观访问，吸纳西方艺术之精髓。1992年、1998年、2003年先后三次赴日本东京讲学、举办画展。2004年赴埃及考察，感受人类古老文化之魅力。
1990年在台北中华书局举办“王同仁水墨画展览”。2003年参加福州海峡两岸书画名家作品联展，并和台湾画家赴武夷山写生。2009年初赴台湾访问，10月王同仁作品参加***祖国六十华诞、庆澳门回归十周年“海峡两岸书画作品展”。
为香港回归、南方水灾、汶川地震、绿化荒原、救助白血病患儿先后捐献多幅作品。并为中国外交部、中国驻美国休斯顿***、中国驻澳大利亚布里斯班***作画多幅。
《王同仁画集》、《王同仁速写》、《泼墨天地间》、《艺海拾贝》、《水墨动物画技法》、《王同仁精品集》、《王同仁作品集》、《王同仁书法作品集》等数十本艺术专著，由各出版社出版发行。王同仁书法作品被收录进《历代名画家书法作品集》。其作品《戴月行》被选入《中国近代美术全集》人物画卷。
中央电视台、北京电视台、湖南电视台、广东电视台、澳门电视台、甘肃电视台、兰州电视台也拍摄了王同仁作品专题片，在全国播放。
为***2008年北京奥运会的成功举办，应澳大利亚***陆克文之邀，赴澳参加了“西方音乐与东方绘画相融合”的大型主题音乐会（以王同仁水墨画之意境，由法、澳、日籍音乐家演绎出东西方艺术的融汇之美）。中国驻澳使馆文化参赞、驻布里斯班领事、以及当地各国使节出席了此次音乐会。
2006、2007、2008年应邀参加北京国际艺术博览会，并被评为“十大最具影响力艺术家”之一。被英国剑桥、美国ABI编入《国际艺术名人辞典》、《世界名人录》，获终身成就奖。
2010年应中央***部邀请，参加“统一战线知名书画家赴四川地震灾区考察”活动，并代表全体书画家开笔篆写“勇者无惧”四大字横幅，由汶川地震博物馆永久收藏。6月应兰州市政府邀请创作巨幅作品“高原清音”，“千秋万古满树春”等作品参加兰洽会“梦幻丝路，五彩敦煌”展览。12月受中国和平统一促进会邀请赴澳门参加林则徐诞辰225周年庆典活动。

Wang’s book Figure Drawing Skills was published by Chinese Correspondence University of Calligraphy and Painting. In May, joined Mr. Ye Qianyu in the professor and students group to sketch in Tonglu, Hangzhou, Qiandaohu Lake, Fuchun River and other places, and exchanged skills with the local artists. In July, Wang concentrated in the study of figure drawing by burned ink. He created Mountainous People, A Girl Herdsman in Maqu, A Scholar, for the Exhibition of Works by Ye Qianyu and His Students.

Wang’s A U.S. Woman was shown at the Exhibition in Yan-Huang Art Museum. Wang’s A Long Way was shown at the Exhibition of Fine Chinese Paintings. Wang’s Walking in the Moon Light, A Majestic Eagle over the Grassland, Dawn on the Highland, The Bright Moon Comes to Bid Farewell with Affection, In the Shade of the trees,etc. were shown at the Exhibition of Chinese Paintings by Teachers in CAFA, Hong Kong. In Sept. Wang Tongren’s Sketches, as one in the series of celebrities was Published by Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. Wang’s Guid-nce Sketches for the Entrance-Exam into Colleges of Fine Arts and Sketches by Line Drawing for the Entrance-Exam into Colleges of Fine Arts were published by Shandong Fine Arts Publishing House. Wang was appointed as member of art committee in Yan-Huang Art Museum. In Nov., Wang went to Tokyo, Japan, gave lectures for 3 months, then inspected, lectured and conducted academic exchanges in Yokohama, Kyoto, Nara.

| 1993年 | The Exhibition of Wang Tongren’s Works on the Silk Road was held in Osaka, Japan. Wang was invited to be a judge on the review committee at the National Grand Prix Competition of Calligraphy and Painting, held by Xinhua News Agency and a member of the council of the Artists Association attached to the Ministry of Culture. In Sept., Wang was invited to attend the celebration activities for the 40th anniversary of the founding of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and inspected in Zecha, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, and other places.

| 1995年 | In the Jan.The Gallery of New Daily, Hong Kong, published Mr. Liu Kaiqu’s article Wang Tongren’s Sketch, Free and Restricted, together with six pieces of Wang’s sketches. In April, the column published another article What Is Wang Tongren Seeking for? together with nine of his figure paintings by ink and wash; In Aug. the column published ten of his animal paintings by ink and wash. Walking in the Moon Light was selected into an album of paintings Affections by Chinese Painting published by the Dept. of United Front, Central Committee, CCP, as well as Chinese Painting, Vol.of Figures, The Complete Works of Modern Chinese Fine Arts published by the People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. In Sept., Wang went on an inspection tour in France, the Vatican, Rome, Florence, Venice, Milan, London, going in for academic exchanges for half a year. And Wang created a number of ink and wash works with new idea and new materials. In Dec., the Exhibition of Wang Tongren’s Paintings was held in the International Art City, Paris.

| 1996年 | In the Jan.Seven of Wang’s books on skills of drawing animals, such as How to Draw Sheep, How to Draw Ox, How to Draw Horses etc. were published by the Publishing House of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In June, eight of Wang’s pieces in the animal series were shown at the Exhibition of Paintings by Ye Qianyu and His Students, held by Qingdao City Museum. Wang’s Bring a Painted Dragon to Life by Putting in the Pupils of Its Eyes was shown at an exhibition of modern celebrities’ originals of calligraphy and paintings. In Oct. Wang created An Ox Telling Spring’s Coming, which was printed on the first day cover made of Chinese paper and used as a gift for the excellent exhibits of post fields by Beijing Postage Stamp Company. Wang’s A Picture of Feeding the Baby, Dawn at Maqu, Herding Oxen were made into the special topic movie Drawing Oxen in the Year of Ox, which was shown in the programme Welcome the Spring Everywhere during the Spring Festival by CCTV. In Dec. ABI, USA nominated Wang as a candidate for the award of Life Success.

| 1997年 | In the April.Gansu Pictorial published an article Wang Tongren, Walking from Loess Plateau to the Top of World’s Painting Circles and a number of Wang’s ink and wash works painted in France. In May, China Aviation published an article An Ox in the Painting Circles-Wang Tongren. In June, Wang created Auspicious in the Year of Ox on a porcelain plate, which was shown at the Grand Exhibition of Porcelain Drawings by a Hundred Artists for Hong Kong’s Returning to China in 1997.

| 1998年 | In the Feb.Went to Japan to lecture in a Japanese School of Fine Arts and was responsible for the certification of Chinese painting degree for the graduates. An exhibition of Wang’s paintings was held in Tokyo. In March, Wang visited some famous Japanese painters. In June, Wang was appointed as the deputy head of the Art Committee, Yan-Huang Art Museum. Wang’s Soar was shown at the Exhibition of Celebrities’ Calligraphy and Paintings for the Anniversary of Hong Kong’s Return. In Sept., the Exhibition of Wang Tongren’s Paintings was held in National Art Museum of China. Beijing TV Station put on two special topic movies Wang Tongren, the Painter and His Chinese Painting Is as Wonderful as Mystery, introducing Wang and his art of painting. Wang’s exhibition and commentaries by experts were widely reported by People’s Daily (Overseas Edition), China Daily, Guangming Daily, Chinese Youth Daily and other tens of newspapers and magazines. In Oct., Wang was invited to attend a forum of famous calligraphers and painters held by World Expo in Kunming, Yunnan Prov. and also invited to draw a picture Nine Oxen Dashing Ahead for the meeting hall in the Foreign Ministry.

| 1999年 | In the Jan.Study of Fine Arts published commentator Chun Shui’s article The True Feeling Expressed in Simple Lines-Reading of Wang Tongren’s Chinese Painting. In March, Civil Aviation published Prof. Wang Yuliang’s article Painting Must Come out of the Heart-the Purpose of the Famous Chinese Painter Wang Tongren’s Creation. In June, Xinhua Aviation published Prof. Wang Baokang’s article The Thick Accumulation Brings about New Blossom-After Visiting the Exhibition of Prof. Wang Tongren’s Paintings. In July, Wang’s work Ride the Clouds in the Clear Void was shown at the Exhibition of Celebrities’ Calligraphy and Paintings held by the Ministry of Culture. The Invitation Exhibition of Wang Tongren’s Ink and Wash was held in his hometown Lanzhou, and Wang went to Gannan, to collect folk customs in Sangke Grassland. Wang wrote these articles: The Metal-like Lines Casting Deep Feelings, In Memory of My Teacher Huang Zhou, The Master’s Soul Inspires the Successor-In Memory of Mr. Lu Guangzhao, Keeps a Young Heart at the Advanced Years-Something about Mr. Liu Kui, Chairman of the Artists Association in Gannan. Wang published VCD of The Skill and Appreciation of Figure Painting and The Skill and Appreciation of Animals by Ink and Wash.

| 2000年 | Invited by the Gansu Artists Association, Wang held the Exhibition of ‘‘Returning Home” Paintings by Wang Tongren and Wang Xinhai. A special topic documentary film Back to Hometown was made by the Gansu TV Station, and shown in the Programme Cultural Landscape. In the same year, Wang was appointed as member of the standing council of the Huangzhou Foundation for Fine Arts. His burned ink painting Bring a Painted Dragon to Life by Putting in the Pupils of Its Eyes was selected and included in the Exhibition of Chinese Art in 2000 and its Album as well.

| 2001年 | Created a series of paintings inspired by Yuan Qu Music and Opera: A Cosy Nest, The Sun Setting Down Westwards, Oh, Come back Home, Wild Geese Flying Northwards, Expecting at Every Step, and calligraphic works At Leisure, Thoughts in Autumn, The Road of Zizhi (Purple Magic Fungus), Pleasure Everywhere, Warnings for Walking in the Hills, etc. which were made into telephone IC card issued throughout the country by Chinese Tele-Communication Company. In autumn, Wang went to Dunhuang, visited and studied the ancient art in Qianfodong, Mogao Grotto.

In autumn, Wang’s Exhibition of Paintings with the Theme of Auspicious Sheep was held in Beijing; In winter, Wang went to Shenzhen to hold another Exhibition with the same theme. Wang still worked hard to study the art of traditional Chinese painting and copied the famous artists’ works.

| 2004年 | Wang published a collection of works Splash Ink to the Universe. Wang’s calligraphy in seal character Great Harmony, The Wise Are Free from Doubts was selected into A Collection of Calligraphy by Famous Painters of All Times, published by Tianjin People’s Fine Arts Publishing House. In July, The Fine Works of Famous Painters, Vol. of Wang Tongren was published and issued by Hebei Education Publishing House. In Aug., invited by Tianshui City Artists Association, Gansu, the Exhibition of Wang Tongren’s Paintings was held there. In Sept., invited by Maqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Wang attended the activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding. In Dec. Wang went on an investigation tour to Egypt, visited Luxor Temple, Red See, Cairo and other places of historic interest, and gained a more clear understanding of the cultural heritage of ancient Egypt. At the same time, he created works such as Travelers in Vast Desert, The Sand Looks like Snow on the Deserted Ancient Road, Fragrance in the Clear Breath, The Boundless Desert.

| 2005年 | In the Aug.Wang went to Yunnan Prov. to tour in Kunming, Diqing, Lijiang, Dali etc., tasting the rich folk culture and colourful life customs. Also in Aug., Orient Fine Arts No.50 edited by Centre of Orient Art, Hong Kong, made Wang Tongren as its cover figure and introduced his works. In Sept., Wang’s eight works including Son of the Nature, Walking on the Highland, Folk Dance of Japanese, Impression of West Sculpture were shown at the 2nd International Exhibition in Beijing, China, a bi-annual exhibition in series, and the Exhibition of Fine Works by Huang Zhou and His Students.
